Schools & Daycares

Education and early childhood are at the heart of family life. In Restigouche, you will find daycares as well as a French and English school network that covers the entire region.

This section guides you to educational and preschool resources, school enrollment, and family support services so that your children can thrive in a welcoming, safe, and stimulating environment.

In the Restigouche region, families benefit from access to two distinct school districts that meet the linguistic needs of the population. The Francophone Nord-Est School District offers schools and educational services in French, fostering the growth and success of francophone students. Meanwhile, the Anglophone North School District serves the region’s English-speaking students, providing them with an adapted and stimulating learning environment. Together, these two school districts ensure quality, accessible education for all, while reflecting the linguistic and cultural richness of our community.
